En Hombre Azul Pensando en Naranja, Rogelio García sitúa a una figura solitaria en el punto exacto donde dos mundos chocan. El hombre — construido en azules profundos y tonos oscuros — emerge de un mar turbulento que es a la vez agua y emoción, paisaje y estado interior. Sobre él, un paraguas consumido por el fuego naranja arde contra un cielo amarillo luminoso surcado por lluvia diagonal.
La tensión es inmediata e intencional. El azul es el cuerpo, el peso, lo conocido. El naranja es el pensamiento, el deseo, lo inalcanzable. La figura no persigue la llama — simplemente la sostiene, mira hacia adelante y resiste.
