Mujeres en azul

En la economía de la atención digital, el cuerpo femenino se ha convertido en moneda. Rogelio García toma ese territorio — la llamada “página azul”, el universo de OnlyFans — y lo traduce al lenguaje de la pintura expresionista. Pero algo cambia en esa traducción: lo que era consumo se vuelve contemplación. Lo que era mercancía se vuelve enigma.
Las Mujeres en Azul no posan para nadie. No miran a la cámara. No sonríen. Son figuras que habitan su propio espacio con una soberanía que la pantalla nunca les daría. El azul no es un color decorativo — es una piel alternativa, un territorio propio, una distancia elegida.
Esta serie no juzga la plataforma. La interroga.

In the attention economy, the female body has become currency. Rogelio García takes that territory — the so-called “blue page”, the OnlyFans universe — and translates it into the language of expressionist painting. But something shifts in that translation: what was consumption becomes contemplation. What was commodity becomes enigma.
The Women in Blue do not pose for anyone. They do not look at the camera. They do not smile. They are figures who inhabit their own space with a sovereignty the screen would never grant them. Blue is not a decorative color — it is an alternative skin, a territory of their own, a chosen distance.
This series does not judge the platform. It questions it.
