Serie: Mujeres en Azul - Autocomplacencia 1

La figura no está de pie ni sentada ni recostada. Está suspendida — entre la caída y el vuelo, entre el control y la entrega. Autocomplacencia 1 es la obra más dinámica de la serie y quizás la más cinematográfica: hay movimiento, hay vértigo, hay una historia que está ocurriendo exactamente ahora.
El cuerpo azul se tuerce sobre sí mismo con una libertad que desafía la gravedad. El cabello enredado se expande como una nube de energía. Las piernas se doblan sin dirección fija. Y el fondo — azules, violetas, dorados, negros — no es un espacio sino un estado: la tormenta interior de quien ha decidido, finalmente, soltarse.
En la parte inferior de la composición hay una presencia difuminada, ambigua — una sombra o un reflejo que la figura deja atrás o hacia la que se dirige. Esa ambigüedad es intencional. La autocomplacencia, en su sentido más amplio, siempre deja algo atrás. O lo encuentra.
Esta es la obra de la serie donde el cuerpo habla más alto. Y lo que dice no necesita traducción.

The figure is neither standing nor sitting nor lying down. It is suspended — between falling and flying, between control and surrender. Autocomplacencia 1 is the most dynamic work in the series and perhaps the most cinematic: there is movement, there is vertigo, there is a story happening exactly now.
The blue body twists upon itself with a freedom that defies gravity. The tangled hair expands like a cloud of energy. The legs bend without fixed direction. And the background — blues, violets, golds, blacks — is not a space but a state: the inner storm of someone who has finally decided to let go.
At the bottom of the composition there is a diffused, ambiguous presence — a shadow or a reflection that the figure leaves behind or moves toward. That ambiguity is intentional. Self-indulgence, in its broadest sense, always leaves something behind. Or finds it.
This is the work in the series where the body speaks the loudest. And what it says needs no translation.
