Esta es la obra más abstracta de la serie. El cuerpo casi desaparece — se fragmenta en pinceladas azules, naranjas y grises que ya no describen una figura sino que la sienten. Hay rodillas, hay una mano, hay una curva que podría ser un torso. Pero la certeza anatómica se disuelve deliberadamente.
Autocomplacencia 2 es la obra más valiente de Mujeres en Azul precisamente porque renuncia a lo más fácil — la legibilidad del cuerpo — para quedarse con lo más difícil: la experiencia interior de habitarlo.
El placer propio, la autocomplacencia en su sentido más literal y más profundo, no tiene forma fija. Tiene color, tiene temperatura, tiene urgencia. Rogelio lo pinta desde adentro — no como voyeur sino como testigo íntimo de una experiencia que no necesita ser vista para ser real.
El fondo multicolor que estalla en la parte superior — rosas, verdes, naranjas — es el único momento de apertura en una obra que de otro modo se cierra sobre sí misma como un secreto.

This is the most abstract work in the series. The body almost disappears — it fragments into blue, orange, and gray brushstrokes that no longer describe a figure but feel it. There are knees, there is a hand, there is a curve that could be a torso. But anatomical certainty dissolves deliberately.
Autocomplacencia 2 is the boldest work in Mujeres en Azul precisely because it gives up the easiest thing — the readability of the body — to hold on to the hardest: the interior experience of inhabiting it.
Self-pleasure, self-indulgence in its most literal and most profound sense, has no fixed form. It has color, it has temperature, it has urgency. Rogelio paints it from the inside — not as a voyeur but as an intimate witness to an experience that doesn’t need to be seen to be real.
The multicolored background that explodes at the top — pinks, greens, oranges — is the only moment of openness in a work that otherwise closes in on itself like a secret.
