Hay lugares que no esperan. Que simplemente están.
El Parque no es un destino — es una pausa. Un banco de madera rústica que nadie ocupa, bajo un árbol que arde en rojo sin consumirse. El verde lo cubre todo con la generosidad de lo que no pide nada a cambio.
Rogelio García no pinta un jardín. Pinta el momento justo antes de sentarse. Ese segundo en que el cuerpo todavía no descansó pero ya sabe que va a hacerlo.
La figura humana no aparece en la obra — y sin embargo, está. En el banco que alguien dejó, en la sombra que el árbol tiende como una manta, en el silencio que solo existe cuando hay alguien para escucharlo.
El rojo del follaje no es otoño ni alarma. Es vida en su punto más alto, recordándonos que la quietud no es ausencia de energía — es energía que encontró su lugar.

The Park is not a destination — it is a pause. A rustic wooden bench that no one occupies, beneath a tree that burns red without being consumed. Green covers everything with the generosity of what asks nothing in return.
Rogelio García does not paint a garden. He paints the moment just before sitting down. That second when the body has not yet rested but already knows that it will.
The human figure does not appear in the work — and yet, it is there. In the bench someone left behind, in the shadow the tree extends like a blanket, in the silence that only exists when there is someone to hear it.
The red of the foliage is neither autumn nor alarm. It is life at its highest point, reminding us that stillness is not the absence of energy — it is energy that has found its place.
